CliXSense is one the few hugely popular PTC programs, which have a unquestionable track-record and clear brand image. It is estimated that it got more than 8million page views in the last 30days.
Nature: Pay-to-click (where you click on ads and view them for 30 seconds)
Payout: $0.01 - $0.05 per click, paid monthly through cheque
Minimum Payout: $10

Referral Program:
1. Earn 10% of your referral's earnings.

Pros:
Definitely not a scam, unquestionable integrity.
High payout rates for premium members.

Cons:
Low payout and less number of ads for general members.

What is Premium Membership:
Existing members can pay $10 / year for upgrading. This allows you to click about 5-610 times more ads. The high payout ads are also presented more to the premium members. You can easily recover $10 within a period of 1-2 months if you are a regular member to CliXSense.

Recommendations:
It pays to be a premium member in the long run. Although ClixSense is a highly rated PTC program, I would recommend it (or for that matter any PTC program), only if you have sufficient time in hand and don't like other programs. Plainly speaking, I consider PTC programs to be low-income and more-effort job.
